full moon-mid of the year!

This Sunday (NY) June 7th, full moon,
as part of my theatre training I will fast.
I follow this fasting, as my elders related
to the soil-every full moon
-as I am related to my craft..
And the work is nurture...
The soul guides.
The mind gets sharper.
and the needed memory for new texts, somehow
get recharged.
The entire system rests.
Rests the entire system.
Entire rests, the system...
and more possibility.

Hope one day you join me in this fasting,
as part of your theatre training.

Change IS the season.

Gladly we are richer just because we have each other...some how...

Lovely to read your posts Josefina! And congratulations Ay Ombe - we share in the celebrations from this part of the world.

For my part I'm keeping the lesson of continuation that you left with me. I'm writing pretty regularly now and it's making me so happy.

On the daily practice

Yes theatre is nurtured by every single act of life.
Every day.
Every time.
All perceived stimuli are origin of texts, gestures, pauses,
music, lighting, training, songs, scenography...
Then what else can we invite our beings to be
but alert and alive.

Now that the fever is gone

Distance, time, agenda, family matters, personal quests, collective urgency...
all shake us up to a reality check.
Now that all is setting in...
Now that routine/ritual have set in....

What is constant with you,
Mother Flowers,
from the experienced lived during the workshop
(words heard, movements explored...)?

Now that the infatuation is gone
Now that the fever has lowered its degrees
How warmed and transformed is the Mother Flower
path?
